24v DC driver for LED lights. Electrical Advice

24v DC driver for LED lights. Discussion Thread24v DC driver for LED lights. Electrical Advice

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a decent 24V DC constant voltage LED driver.

It’s for an install of bathroom niche LEDs IP65 downlights. They are mini and have a 35mm cut out. The 1.5mm T&E is already dropped to each cut out but need a driver that will fit through a 35mm whole and to be pushed up.

Many thanks,
Jay

EICR Frequency Discussion ThreadEICR Frequency Electrical Advice

Asking for a friend who works in the health and safety sector, was asking me about the proper time intervals for EICRs in commercial and industrial settings.

I had a look in BS7671 and I see ( Reg 652.1 ) that it doesn't give specific timescales for various settings, only general guidance.

I found this video online (the veracity of which I cannot be sure) which seems to suggest 3 years for factories, and for some...

Hi,

I've recently looked at a fault with an intermittently tripping RCD at a property for a landlord I do the odd job for.
Got there and did the basics, IR'd the cables, looked at resistances across the pump, got acceptable results everywhere I looked. Played with the heating, demanded hot water and central heating to try and recreate the fault. Absolutely nothing. Apparently...
