I have a Horstmann e7bx water heater boost controller for my immersion heater which I want to replace with a timeguard trtd7n timer which is suitable for dual element ,the only problem is that the new timer has only got 5 connections and old one has 10,is this possible or do I have to get another timer with the 10 connections?

they had reported tripping issues , so i tried to do an (RCD) Residual Current Device test.

So i have a Ceiling Fan (lets just class it as a Light with a Pull cord at the light) and a light switch

Problem is i turn the light off at the Light at night .. and when i wake up i turn it on at the light switch.
Sadly the light switch is TWO Core so it doesnt really effect the light , ONE switch is on then the light is on, and other light switch will not turn off
