I live in an apartment with a cold water tank. The cold water tank feeds the cold water tap in the sink and the bath. Recently, I refurbished my bathroom, and according to the plumber who fitted the new taps, high-pressure taps were fitted. Consequently, the water from taps is of a low volume and rate. Concealed Cisterns Discussion Thread

My daughter has received a quote to replace all items in a bathroom. The quote includes the replacement of a toilet with one having a concealed cistern. I am a little worried that replacing faulty parts in in a concealed cistern will involve more work and therefore more expense than doing the same for a normal non-concealed one. Is my concern justified?

PEX Crimp ring test Discussion Thread

I'm installing PEX b for the first time, and I was wondering if the Go no go tool needs to fit correctly on all sides of the ring after crimping. I did one fitting and it fits correctly on one side but doesn't fit if I try the other direction. Any insight?
