bad tiling, help !!!

Have you paid them? if not dont. If you hav'nt paid them, ring a local tile shop and get tel. no. of two or three good pro tilers. Ask them for their honest opinion. I do this now and then. Confront the contractor, and demand action. You can get a report done by the tile association, but this will cost about £700.

if you havnt paid them then dont and use the money you were going to pay them to pay a decnt tiler to rectify the mess left by the so called tilers beforehand

From what I read the problem is you have already paid for the materials - which no doubt cost a bit!
If they don't come back to rectify and hence they are not worried about their labour costs - then I would assume that your next contact should be with the Magistrates Court to make a claim for the repayment of your material money.
