Hi I am considering tiling over the existing tiling.
I am going to use Bal - Mosaic adhesive.
My question is - Do I have to "deglaze" or roughen the faces before tiling over?
I will be putting up 600x600 tiles
The old tiling is secure & well fixed.
Thanks for any info.
I have posted this in trusted advisors as i think there will be another member who is not a trusted advisor who will costing for this job as well.

What do you guys do when screwing and plugging plasterboard to walls if you want a more secure fixing?
Do you dot and dab them on and then drill through pb and wall, push a plug in then screw?
Do you need washers?
hi
i know that you are not meant to spot wall tiles but how do you fix them to a bowed wall, for example if it bows in 10-15mm in the middle obviously you dont want to follow the wall as it will look rubbish so how do you build them out?

what i find fascinating is how peeps arrive at using this method of fixing, do they spot the floor then bed the tile, ?or are they spotting the tile then laying the whole thing on the floor/wall ? surly they must know that there will be voids under the tile that will not be supported,? is this...

Hi All
On my bathroom wall that has the door on it would it be ok to secure the marmox boards with screws only, at 300mm centres and not apply adhesive as I want to minimise the depth added to this wall so as to not come proud of the door architrave? The walls have been replastered in bonding...
