    No more ply

I tend to use no more ply for bathroom floors. The mega strength adhesive is quite expensive, I just wondered if anybody else uses flex tile adhesive to put this down or any alternative like grip fill??? would this have the same results as no more plys product. Cheers.

Hi All, a reasonably experienced diy tiler here! I know there's lots of threads on backerboard but can't seem to find what i'm after. My kitchen is chipboard with 6mm ply on top, missus wants the scabby vinyl replaced with tiles. A few questions: The chipboard is pretty stable and the 6mm...

    Tiling to ply

This is a short video I recorded tonight as I had a problem with my shower & had to take 2 tiles off, it lead to half the wall coming down as it was tiled onto ply, don't get me wrong they weren't well fixed but with the thermal expansion within a shower this is what will happen if you tile to...

Screws for fixing 6mm tilebacker board to ply.

I'm over boarding a ply floor with 6mm backer board in a couple of weeks time and wondered what fixings people recommend? I'm presuming the ply will be 12mm so ideally I'd like them to be less than 18mm to avoid any pipework. Does this sound the way to go?
