What size ply do I need?
What thickness? I am tiling the hall and kitchen and under stairs wc. There is tongue and groove boards down at the moment, I'm going to take them up and lay ply straight on the joists. What determines the size of the ply I lay? I have 23sm to cover, any suggestions where I buy it? Thanks- essex_lee

Trowel size.
As posted elsewhere, I'm about to start some tiling in the bathroom. Tiles are 330x250x8 ceramics onto plasterboard. Going to be using Mapei P9 addy. Just went to get me trowel and discovered that it's a 6mm square notched affair. Would this be suitable for my situation or should I be nipping...- wobblyheed

started a job today, once i pulled down the tiles that were already there i realised there was wall paper under neath, took me all day to get it off. was going to do a wall before i left but the adhesive was only covering the edges (250mm x 400mm tiles) so i stoped, do i just need bigger trowel...- CRAIG G
