    Preparing a window recess for tiling

    So my window currently has a frame around it. It is just a matter of ripping this wood out and plasterboarding? I want to tile all the way in. There is a space inbetween the inside frame and the wall. Is this cold bridging? Do i need to keep this when installing the plasterboard?
