Don't think for a minute you are embarrasing yourself bud, we all had to start somewhere and like you say it's the quality that counts, for me adhesive choice would be bal single part flex.I won't embarrass myself by saying how long it is taking me yet! But I costed it based on 3 days work - and if I took longer that was my learning curve. I'm just not sure if I ripped myself or not. However I want to get into bathroom fitting - not just the plumbing, so I think it is a good one to get stuck into.
I was pleased with the quality of my slow work - I'm now worried about the ady though! Greenstar says its suitable for domestic showers onto ceramic tiles. What ady would others recomend though, as I'm keen to learn and improve.
Thanks for all the quick feedback.
Thanks Sean and John.
I'm using Bal Green Greenstar adhesive. Mostly onto the original very solid tiles except where the walls have been made good as most of the layout has changed. Using 6mm notched trowel in most areas and thin solid bed in the shower area.
White keraquick would be my choice of adhesive![]()
