Hi I have recently moved into a ground floor flat which only has a bath and half-tiling. My plumber has installed a shower onto the existing tiles and fixed the shower head and rail etc to the current stud work - this will be changed later.
I believe the walls are emulsion paint on stud work or dry walling. From what I've read I should 1. rough up the paint lots and 2. use an acrylic adhesive - not PVA.
How much should the paint be roughed up as this is dry wall and I don't want to start digging holes in it
Can I/should I use an all-in-one type adhesive and grout or as per experience, would you recommend separate pots?
Thanks in advance.
Adam.
