After watching how good the ATS hole cutter performed on this test thread http://www.tilersforums.com/tiling-forum/61691-testing-thread-2.html#post632863 I will definitely not be put off by low cost options in the future - it out performed hole cutters costing way more.

I had some of these recently but one i tried hasnt lasted well at all. The other ones seem fine.

Hells teeth why would you cut a metal trim with a grinder :0
Screw fix do some decent blades, i always think the top end blades are a bit pricey

Just to point out for safety sake.. do not buy the Rubi BL porcelain 115mm blades.. i had 2 break on me and could have had a serious accident and ZERO reply from Rubi after i handed the 2 blades back to them to examine...


My local CTD then pulled them from sales but still no response as to why they shattered like they did.. IMO just as usual with this BL range .. cheap chinese rubbish.

jees!.. thats my worst nightmaire, always been afraid of grinder blade shattering on me!! If my blade becomes chiped at all then in the bin it goes!!

happened to a mate of mine,had around 30 stitches all around his face, miraculously not a morsel went in his eye,very lucky man he was

one of my nephews had a blade shatter and he did lose one of his eyes, very bad episode in- deed ,that was about 5 years ago and he is still having problems as it can affect the remaining eye, you must all wear protection!! it's just not worth the agony ........

I have used the Beava 115 mm cutting blade for a few years now & have found them very good.

Today's test with the ATS cutting wheels ( 115mm continuous and smooth Turbo) are not looking good at all

Looks like we might be back to the drawing board on the cheaper blades then.

Let us know what the issues are and we'll have a chat with the engineers back at the factory.

There are a few members here who have had our blades, particularly the turbo ones. None have mentioned any issues so far - but if they are not performing as you expect can you let us know please.

If we need to change the formulation then a bit feedback is very helpful.
