another reminder why i hardly work for any contractors

god knows how many joiners and builders i have done jobs for and 99 percent of them cut corners and do things the opposite way you want it done

is this what the public want this kind of crap work?

1st job for new contractor booked in for thursday.......cheap as hell price as agreed to start to include materials

calls me up its tile on tile..ffs

wont pay parking costs either expects my meterage rate to swallow that

wants tiles picked up and delivered to site as part of job from diy shed

how about i do it for nothing?

not even gonna bother doing it

i only work for a few builders now, one's ive managed to train up...lol

dont even bother with the ones that ring up out the blue, you know the jobs going to be a nightmare and then you will wait four months for your money, if you see it at all..

One plumber I do work for is turning in to a pain in the neck, wants it done for next to nothing and I'm waiting for over 30 days for my money:mad2:

Just taken on a new plumbing firm, got the rate I wanted and then found out he was paying the last tiler more !! :mad2: Oh well I am happy with the rate. Went to see my 1st job with them today and so far its all looking good. I kinda think that if their work looks good ( the plumbing side)then the rest will follow. Time will tell though. Start on Monday.
