A big Hello with my 1st Post.
I've been searching for a lot of information about a career change and delighted to have come across this website. So hopefully now, I can bend some of your ears for information.
I've been thinking about getting a trade for ages now, so I guess this is the 1st step, looking for advice for the best way to get qualified and experience. The thing I would say is against me most, is my age (32), and finding someone to take me on. Alternatively, I have also been considering a 6-8 week training course in the next couple of months, but a little skeptical to the amount you can learn in that short time. No doubt, great skills but is it really enough to go it alone?
It would be great to hear other people's stories which is similar to mine.
Just on off chance... If there are any tilers in the Camberley, Guildford, Woking area who would be willing to take on a trainee with a trainees wage, please send me a PM... Geez that was cheeky!!!
