were going to pendine in september

I've never been there Mike but it's literally about 15 minutes drive from where I was staying this week. I did consider detouring to have a look at Pendine beach but I thought I would belt it home instead. I can always go back down later on in the year.

Gryf Rhys-Jones has just bought a big farm house down there and he's got a show on BBC2 Wales about the restoration of all the buildings.

are you moving to pembrokshire liz?

i saw a programme on tenby and it looked a great place to live, i would move somewhere like that but its just the work situation that would concern me a bit....

thinking about it Ed. what's really twisted my arm is seeing all the families getting down on the beach where I was staying, even tho the weather wasn't that fantastic. and it just occurred to me that raising a family in a place like that would be wonderful... sand, sea, lots of beautiful countryside and fresh air, lots of local businesses and local produce... just seems like a better way of life to me :hurray:

lol Liz, mum's hasn't got a beach, but a cracking place to raise a family, (well my mum and dad had 7 kids there), woods to the back, fields to the left, field and river to the right, (la8 9dh on google street view:smilewinkgrin

about 2 miles outta Kendal, so you have the country lifestyle without being to far from shops etc

you can just see front end of it in driveway, black megane. If you look face on, mum's house is the right hand side of the cherry tree, painted magnolia semi
