were going to pendine in september

I've never been there Mike but it's literally about 15 minutes drive from where I was staying this week. I did consider detouring to have a look at Pendine beach but I thought I would belt it home instead. I can always go back down later on in the year.

Gryf Rhys-Jones has just bought a big farm house down there and he's got a show on BBC2 Wales about the restoration of all the buildings.


are you moving to pembrokshire liz?

i saw a programme on tenby and it looked a great place to live, i would move somewhere like that but its just the work situation that would concern me a bit....

thinking about it Ed. what's really twisted my arm is seeing all the families getting down on the beach where I was staying, even tho the weather wasn't that fantastic. and it just occurred to me that raising a family in a place like that would be wonderful... sand, sea, lots of beautiful countryside and fresh air, lots of local businesses and local produce... just seems like a better way of life to me :hurray:

were thinking of moving that way in a few years time
