Dom thankfully the sponsors banner for Cornertape was at the top of the screen just as I was looking for the link :hurray: So I just right clicked on the banner, clicked copy shortcut, and then pasted it into a reply box. simples

I've realised my bath is sloping down which is why I keep cutting the tiles wrong :mad2:

Whatever you just said Liz the answer is yes. I can read it but it quickly turns into goobledegook, now if you want to talk about installing a wet room from scratch using Italian marble then you have my attention.

First off you ....................blah blah blah drone drone drone, Liz? Liz ? wake up Liz

For the last cut to the bath Minnie, turn the tile around so that you are looking at the back of the tile, lay the tile on the edge of the bath but up close to the fixed tile that it will sit under, mark it allowing for the gap, follow the two marks around to the face of the tile and cut it, when you position it in place it will fit exactly right, hope you follow that because you can quickly mark all the tiles and number them, don't forget to put a corresponding number on the wall, cut them all at once and fit, you will be in the pub by 3pm. I am typing all this from my laptop, I am down at watford now so get the kettle on.

hi minnie

vertical first then bring horizontal flush with front edge

ah, that's what I thought (so water could run off shelf). However, can't actually do vertical first as was going to put mosaics there, and they're not arriving 'til tomorrow. They were meant to be here last week, but had no stock. However, I'm now thinking that putting the mosaics on the vertical above the sink would make sealing between mosaics and sink difficult, so now I'm starting to wonder if I should just stick with the same tiles throughout.

Had considered getting totally different tile for shelf but am too brain dead to try to work out what to put there instead

Thing is Minnie, Liz is a mod, if I don't do as commanded I might wake to find a bunny boiling in a pot or my crops will fail. They have special powers,,,,,,,,,,

<------ not Liz............maybe.

Yeah, but you could always grass her up to the top mod for abuse of power

Hm, it's just occurred to me, I can't say things like that as she's been helping me

ah, that's a pain. choices here are to either try and level the bath up (not sure how easy that is Minnie) or just cut the tiles to fit the gaps :20:

Can't access under the bath. The boards are stuck solid, and we can't unscrew them.

I obviously need to cut the tiles at an angle, but I wasted so many cutting them straight before I realised where I was going wrong. Lucky Tile Giant's only 2 minutes away and I picked cheap tiles eh! I'm going to take them off and redo them when the ones above have dried out.

Right. Will do that once I've removed them and got more tiles. Need to buy more adhesive first. Have got through 22kg already and Tile Giant reckoned 20kg should be enough, but I don't think they realised how much filling out I had to do. Still got all the mosaics and tile above them to go.

I hope the snow doesn't screw up your journey. You're about an hour away I reckon. You're not typing and driving are you? I'm sure there's a law against that.

My pub doesn't open 'til 5.00pm
