iirc, if, God forbid, either of my boys needed a transfusion, Lou's blood could actually kill them, although mine would be fine (as it's probably the oldest blood group that all others have stemmed from)

I knew a guy with that once. He donated at the hospital and they would even send a taxi for him and another to take him home.

err, should it not be voluntary Stew, a bit draconian to say that the nhs has a right to your body and it's parts:yikes: after all, most of us pay NI contributions anyway.
