Blood Groups

I shall have to ask my mother (as she knows all this information about me obviously :lol🙂 but I believe I'm O negative. not sure what that means personally but maybe one day I'll find out.

I'd love to donate blood but being permanently medicated for hypertension kind of puts me in a "Want to, but not allowed" bracket. My mum donated blood for around 25 years until she developed liver problems.

I'm surprised we weren't told H and G's blood group when they were born, will make a mental note to find out.

It USED to be on the little info sheets about our new baby you used to get from the hospital with birth weight, feeding times etc, not sure what happens now...

quite strange really, because Lou's Dad is AB+, so for Lou to be AB+, her mum must be as well, and AB+ is only 3% of the population and has an oriental origin. Lou's great great grandma did have a "ahem" liaison with a Chinese sailor tho'.
