Bookmark option

Oh, Dan YESSSS!!!! Even though I can manage the other ok, it's still faffy, yes, a bookmark button would be GREAT!!!! :hurray:

Apparently it doesn't work in every version of every internet browser. Apparently it's not meant to work in IE8 but I have it working fine.

Got it to work with FireFox and Google Chrome too. So it should work with Opera and the likes also.

You just have to click the link under the tile giant logo at the top of the forum to save the topic. And if you're on the homepage, for those that want to bookmark the forum generally, a link appears to do that. Though I'm sure you lot know where we are. 🙂

Yeah.

Though 99% of bookmark scripts just add the main URL for the website to your bookmark. Trying to get one that used the Topic Title and linked actually to the topic was hard to find. Though I think this one is okay. 🙂

Thanks, just checked with this post and as I'm using firefox I don't only have the tilersforum thread title showing, but I can also tag the bookmarks, so this is a nice compromise between the bogstandard bookmark and one locally on here. Nice one. Much appreciated. Hope others will, too

why not just bookmark the page in computer bookmark come back to page when you want

Ah, we've been through that, alby, I got too many of those already, hundreds of them things, in umpteen folders, my ideal would have been a floder of bookmarks within the forum site, but not possible, so what Dan has done ain't bad. Works quickly enough.
