Yeah I know, got hundreds of them things in loads of created folders, medical research, business, etc, etc... just have to add another one ... and use the tag option if firefox wisely... oh well... worth a try, eh?

The way i file my favs in fact my whole PC filing is quite simple, if it's a folder i use a lot then instead of calling say 'Colour Republic' I call it 'A - Colour Republic' this way all your most important folders are at the top:thumbsup: if you put the 'A' prefix infront for the most important folders you can then put a 'B' prefix on secondary folders and then the rest you leave unchanged

this only sends you an email when someone replys though right dave? or is there a place in the control panel that shows all subscribed threads?

If you go to Quick links and down the menu you have the Subscribed threads link there, you'll find pages and pages and pages...

yeah 1,200 of them:lol: I have my CP set to auto subscribe to any thread I reply to, i have to turn the 'auto' setting off if I wanted to use it as a filing system for just the ones I want to show

Cheers for that, I use the alphabet system already, the subfolders are startign to give me a headache though... too clever for my own good, keep thinking I must do some serious deleting here...

It will send an email if you set it too or it can save the thread in the user cp ..so the thread can be found in there.

It's called being an Aries, but you must have forgotten rule one 'make no excuses for yourself as you are always right'

Hmm, now there is an idea, turn the auto off... I LIKE IT!!! In combination with my new knowledge of thread tools to subscribe without posting,,,yeey,,, getting somewhere here :hurray: Could we have 'FLAG option' in our subscribed threads, Dave? For the really supa dupa ones?

I would really like an Add To Favourites / Bookmark option on here.

So manytimes I come across a thread and some posts where I think, that info could be really useful for future reference. How good would it be if I could simply have a bookmark option on here, I could give my own heading to and add to as well if I come across a related post that gives more or alternative info.
I know I can search tags and my subscribed threads etc, etc, but the longer we are all on here the harder it gets to find anything...and ever easier to get distracted.

Any thoughts?

Firstly, I definitely can add a bookmark button to the forum. Though can I say that each thread has a drop down menu at the top marked "Thread Tools" and in that you have a "Subscribe to this thread" link. When you click that, not only will it save the thread in your Subscribed Threads bit in "Your Options" (a link in the menu bar - linking to your user control panel), it'll also email you when the thread has been replied to.

If that won't do though, let me know and I'll easily add a "Add to Favourites" link to the forum.

Oh, Dan YESSSS!!!! Even though I can manage the other ok, it's still faffy, yes, a bookmark button would be GREAT!!!! :hurray:
Is there a :bowing to the king: smiley?
