Of course an easy option would be saving the page in a folder in your bookmarks in your browser ???

If you saw my favourites folders on my PC... hundreds of the blooming things... it would just be nice to have it nice and handy here right on site, like a toolbox... I am not a programmer and don't know how complicated it would be to do this, but expecially now with the new system I struggle finding things even more! :dizzy2:

Not possible....to have a bookmark feature within the forum software..

You can either bookmark the thread in your own browser... so you can always find the thread or subscribe to it...in your user CP panel..

Hadn't seen that...😳 ....ehm..what's a CP panel?

It would have been nice to hve some sort of bookmark via the site but if it isn't possible then it isn't possible

the easiest way other than that is to do it via you browser, you can create a favorites 'Folder' maybe call it Tilers Forums! and then you can book make pages (not the thread as a whole but a page in a thread) and you can rename the pages to something you can ref i.e. How to tank plasterboard... sort of thing

???? Just looked round, the same as subscribed threads (I always access via quick links) and the invitation option I hadn't noticed before and some thingy whehre you can change names of thread or thereabouts... but if I don't reply to a thread because I have nothing to add it's not subscribed to anyhow and gets lost in the Maia... ....hmmmmpf... I would have REALLY like a local bookmark option... sob....sniffle... I'll join Grumpy in his corner...

Yeah I know, got hundreds of them things in loads of created folders, medical research, business, etc, etc... just have to add another one ... and use the tag option if firefox wisely... oh well... worth a try, eh?

this only sends you an email when someone replys though right dave? or is there a place in the control panel that shows all subscribed threads?

In the header bar of each thread Gisela is this>>> Thread Tools you can subscribe to a thread without having to reply to it.

Oh, really? Ok, I'll have a look... I could save my subscribed thread per page in my own favourites then and maybe even rename them, couldn't I...?
