have an effect on tiles.il explain was cutting rectified porcs last week 600 300 and they cut fine. the next morning as the tiles were left outside and it was near freezing they would not cut in my cuters kept veering off the score line..anybody have the same experience .

Are they full bodied porcs?
You can usually tell if they won't cut straight, as the scoring wheel starts jamming as you try to score them. Try a tile from a different box.

I complained to a tile shop about the number of times that their tiles just sheared off. The response was 'Oh yea, full bodied porcelain tiles.......you have to wet cut them'.

I don't use a Rubi either!!

I use a Rubi and never had a problem cutting any tile!
Just thought I'd mention it.

i have a rubi ts40 for sm ceramics unbeatable machine .a monty 63 for between 20 and 60 and a sigma 128 for the big boys all work excellent it was just this one time last week still confused

That’s just because we are old and experienced John, that we can cope with that sort of thing.

Pete - that's exactly what my wife would say - but usually in the context of matrimonial issues.
I wonder what interesting lessons today's Tilers would learn if they didn't have this modern medium of the Internet.

Well then they would have to be old and experienced.
