Hey Bolter, just ask the customer if he checked the builders tiling credentials and see if his papers were in order, then remind him that setting tile is not nailing wood together, remind him it's his money he;s spending, afterall tile=equity,Mike

It wouldnt be so bad if he left the job unfinished, the problem is that he grouted the tiles but didnt wash them off. So your left with trav totally covered in grout. Then as he couldnt get the grout off the face of the tile he has sealed it and called it a finished job. :yikes::yikes::yikes:

Oh man, that's just plain wrong, you should be able to charge him with willful damage or something

I got told about this job Wednesday in tile giant. Apparently she is trying to take legal action now.

I was asked by my suplier to take a look at a repair yesterday, the customer had the builder tile her shower room in tumbled 100x100 trav. He didnt do to bad a job with the fixing but he grouted it in with Mapei Ultra colour (fast setting) and left it to dry over night! The next day he sealed it and left it as a finished job! How do people get away with things like that? :mad2:

PICS Bring on the pictures!
