If you can mate use 12mm ply and 25mm screws most floor boards are 18mm so it give you 5mm to play with so to speak. It’s like this mate take your time and think what you are doing and you will do spot on if you think about it you can do anything
If it is a small lip mate go to B&Q or some other floor place and get a trim the one I have just got is 9mm minimum on one side and 21mm max on the other of it but there is different sizes
Has anyone else found that those detectors are a waste of time?
I've had 3 different ones so far and all 3 have let me down.
Metalised plasterboard fools them completely and anything other than a Barratt house i.e something made from bricks or stone fools them also.
