Hi Dave,

Ok paul...I would use a flexible cement based adhesive and a suitable modified grout...you will need to allow sufficent drying time for the plaster unless you use a fast setting one coat...Prime to prevent a reaction with the adhesive...

And most of all..take you time and try not to get small daft cuts around sockets etc but this is really governed by your setting out for the cooker hood and windows etc..

I take it they are just a standard glazed porcelain mosaic..?

Is mapei keraquick ok?

Do you need a special grout for mosaic can you recommend a mapei one?

Do i need to use a 3m mosaic trowel?

Yes just a standard glazed porcelain tile.

Keraquick is fine.. by modified i just mean a flexi grout..mapei ultra colour is great for porcelain as it sets quicker than most ..so you are not waiting ages for it to set enoug for washing off...

Trowel size depends upon tile thickness....3mm is fine for thin mosaics and maybe a 4mm to 6mm for thicker ones..
