First Mosaic job

A 4mm trowel will be fine if your prep work is good..

Yep sean is right..6 x 50mm mosaics per row..

You will be able to dry cut straight cuts and pat them on the wall with a grout float...machine cut around sockets etc..

if you are going to use a manual cutter make sure you have a extra thick piece of rubber on the spliiter to enable you to split every single tile.

That would depend upon the dry cutter..

I have been cutting 50mm porks all day on my ts50+..no probs.....but loads and loads of cuts in the corners of the shower..lol lol lol...

Keraquick is fine.. by modified i just mean a flexi grout..mapei ultra colour is great for porcelain as it sets quicker than most ..so you are not waiting ages for it to set enoug for washing off...

Trowel size depends upon tile thickness....3mm is fine for thin mosaics and maybe a 4mm to 6mm for thicker ones..

They are 8mm thick what size do you think??

Any tips on cutting, laying.

Cheers

Paul

Once there on the wall just pat them down with a grouting tool, to keep all the tiles flush

what about the spacing do you need to put spacers between the middle of the tile?

Cheers

That would depend on how thick you mix the adhesive and the weight of your 8mm thick tiles.
As Dave use a deeper trowel for the thicker tile, pat flat with a grout float or flat piece of ply, and use your plastering trowel (if its straight) to rum through the joints when the adhesive is about to 'take up' and straighten the joint lines.
If require use pegs to keep the joint uniform.
Have fun.

How many spacers have you.

I don't because you may have to adjust the odd mosaic on the webbing
