Was just thinking of another thing. If you are really desperate to get customers you can sign up for RatedPeople.com for just about £10 for 3 months membership - then get jobs offered to quote for. It has to be said it can be quite dear but some of the jobs there are quite good as customers wants a good job done.

If it turns out that you don't get the job after quoting, you can email them and request the payment refunded in form of another credit (by saying the customer didn't reply or something) to use for next customer. That way the payment go a long way. :smilewinkgrin:

We have used it for marketing purposes as the customers have to rate you when job completed.
You can always quit after the 3 months trial has ended and hopefully be busy again.
