We had a customer who declined my original quote to prep and install pretty expensive handmade glass tiles in a shower. When it all fell down after a few months I re examined it, told them what had caused it and quaoted to do it...they still didnt go for it (the price was not silly, just top end of pro rates btw) and about 18 months later I got yet another call....just do it. More expensive by then simply because of all the extra clean down and prep from damage by water.

I would be embarrassed to call back a guy who had already quoted on a job, then to turn him down for the job, then 18 months later ask him to do the job because there not happy with the finished result. I'd like to think customers would learn thru their mistakes, it aint happening.
