These were taken in November, note the facial hair in honor of Movember. I let a horse into the garden and instead of helping get it out, I drank my coffee and took pics of my brother and the builder do battle with the beast.

we have a few horses and horse cross type animals.
anyway you will never catch a horse , the horse will catch you. sit down and wait, or fool around picking crap out of the ditch etc. they are nossy animals and will want to see what you are doing. .
when ever we get a new animal i will go out into the field with a deck chair and the newspaper or laptop if at home. just wait. when they get really close gently blow at them on the nose , its like saying hello to them. then rub the side of its neck and so forth untill you can get the head coller on. never make a drive for the colar or neck to try and over power the animal . it will go belistic and lift you up or run away with you. trust me iv seen it
