I can beat the lot of you!..... I did 20 yrs in Royal Mail and in the end I just had to get out so I re trained myself and here I am! There is still a lot I don't know and much experience to be gained but with the help and support of these guys and girls on here we will be ok. I am very scared too but I know that if there's anything I am not sure of there is a wealth of good advice on here so well done Tysfoot and good luck to us all!

You want to make sure your website is ranking when people are searching for 'Tiler in Manchester' etc - luckily you have me and I optimised a couple of listings on FTT and that's ranking first lol.

If your website is ranking well you have a good chance of getting business through it.

just put myself in the local paper. 6 lines for £16 for 1 week.

nice one tys. In same boat m8, lost cleaning contract last year so thrust into it virtually full time. Jobs are slow coming in mainly friends and family but been walking the streets putting flyers out and got advert in local rag (just got phone call today from that one for a estimate) so bearing fruit hopefully after one week! I've hooked up with couple of tradesmen also so maybe something will come of that!! good luck from me
