Don't know what he has done, and not really interested to be honest. I no longer read newspapers as all you seem to get is journalists digging up dirt about who ever they can embarrass next. Much more concerned about the people of Haiti hit by a natural disaster that some guy - who ever and whatever his position is - doing what nature intended! Rant over! :mad2:

you've only got to look at alex reid to see what the media can do..hated when he went in and now everybody realises he's a decent lad.

if terry has done what he's been accused of then i am sure theres 2 sides to the story, its just our media only want to concentrate on one view because it sells papers.

footballers might earn millions and have responsibilities but they are human beings and they make mistakes. the same press reporters will be calling for him to be knighted if he captains england to the world cup final.

I think dave you are much too intelligent to use that old argument,why did terry try to force out an injunction in the high court if not true, when it comes to money he is nobodys fool,if untrue his lawyers would have been chomping at the bit to get the sun in court,as for bridge i think he might be a little embarresed to make a song and dance about it.

Thats correct grr,and thats the point i try to make in the last part of the OP,these chavs know it will be forgotten about in a week,and as such dont care what people think,
as for "who cares"well i do,my kids look up to these people and lets be honest there is no bigger football icon to a soccer loving kid than the England captain.so yes you bet your last doller i care and i pity those who dont.

you can always show your kids that there are other england captains who were great footballers in their time heatybob. john terry is not the be all and end all of football. what about Sir Stanley Matthews? is he not a big football icon?
