I think so yes.... Is the shading visible standing above the tiles or just at a side glance..?
 
I think the only one that might work and this means stripping the floor again but with a less harsh stripper...

Once clean/dry, then try a small area with Aqua mix Enrich and seal....
 
I will do any thing to get it right, I guess there is no type of product, like an oil, that could be used so it always looks like it does when first sealed. I'm just thinking of when you oil some oak the colour change is massive and permanent.
 
Lithofin cobble wax? after you have stripped it back?

I have used it on jerusalem stone with a buffer and it was a superb finish.

It depends on how much you apply, it does need a pre sealer first. I put 3 coats down and buffed each time, it left a slight shine but I suppose if I had added more coats then it would have become deeper. Very good product though.

What i'll do is take some pics of how it looks, the damaged tiles and how i want it to look and post them tomorrow and if your about we could talk tomorrow?
