Purchased a 750w Macallister table saw. This is a discontinued machine at B&q replaced by a similar device.
Machine looks very similar to an Erbauer machine previously sold at Screw Fix.
The machine is relatively easy to put together, produced low (relatively) amount of water spray and the noise levels are not to extreme.
The extending table is handy, and the machine has sufficient weight to be stable yet portable.
The adjustable riving blade is a nice touch and the guide clamp system functions well.
The tanks has a drain/plug for easy emptying and is easy to clean (again relatively).
The Macallister branded 180mm blade 'works' and had little problems with some 600x300x9.5mm ceramics. It does not give the cleanest of edges with some amount of chipping.
The Blade clamp is substantial and allows for true perpendicular blade installation while allowing quick blade changes.
The saw also has a neat cable tidy and a box that allows the saw to be put back in (without extension).
3 year limited warranty (not for trade use is a limitation).
Regards
James.
