I only use Mapei adhesives now.....love the stuff, used the floor leveller, it's 2part and expensive but very good, grouts for walls are a pain to clean off, sets very fast, Silicon is also excellent and available in many colours..Mark.

i rang up their technical support and they told me the grout is flexible...(its an all in one)

have you's tried a scotch pad to help with the grout clean up....or is it really that hard to get off..??..
Do they do a dispersion adhesive suitable for mosaics etc.....?.

Dear All

Mapei are maufacturers of construction chemicals and our products are sold through distributors in the UK.

Whilst i hope you can appreciate we do have a price list - this is based on the supply of minimum 10 tonne bulk orders to distributors and therefore becomes irrelevant to general fixers.

We really do appreciate your custom - however it is also extremely important that we support our distributors who actually sell our product range into the market.

With this in mind we will not be publishing our prices on this website or mailing out price lists.

I hope you can appreciate our position

Hi. I used the ultra-colour beige the other week and I had to mix it in 2 batches as the floor area was over 10m2. When the grout had cured fully there was a slight difference in the shade. Luckely not noticeable for the customer but I could see a difference. I used my sparky to mix at low speed and mixed both batches quite dry then left to stand for 3 minutes then added a little water to get it smooth. Please can anyone advise me on the correct way to mix as I don't want to lose confidence in this product

I mix by hand, I don't mix it to stiff to start then leave for 2-3 mins then whip up again. You maybe mixing to stiff to start with because your having to mix water to thin down, Was told by a lab rat this grout is high tech:grin:
