Hi all,
i have a few work sweaters and lets just say two get the most use,one is logoed with hillhead tiling and the other has MAPEI printed front and back.
love the stuff.
Ultraplan maxi floor leveller-up to 30mm thick mixed with water,brilliant.
Keraflex maxi white-i use all the time on walls and for stone floors etc.
Mapeker i use for porcelain on screed floors,lovely to work with.
Keraquick with latex plus for tiling over ply,backerboards etc.
i use their keracolour FF for walls,real sweet to use,doesn't go off quick.
ultracolour for floors mainly,if using on walls just one wall at a time works well.

Try the gg for floors lot easier to work with and ok with porcelain

Any body use the Mapei Buidfix Ultimate grab, would it be any good for travertine, its colour is off white, tubbed, was thinking of trying it on a splashback

Wouldn't use tubbed gear with stone m8.

could mark the stone - better with Keraquick white for non moisture sensitive stone.

Well i gotta say i also love the stuff and will be using it from now on...on recommendation from this forum i used fibre plan to level a floor freaking awesome stuff also used keraquick the other day to fix large format tiles round a window...didn't even need to use supports to hold tiles to top reveal 🙂 easy to mix in small batchs by hand...lovely consitency...good pot life for rapid set...amazing grab all in all great product both gave me more confidence!

Hi folks, a few questions about a load of Mapei stuff I am going to use....

• Underfloor heating - I plan on using Latexplan SLC, with Mapeker (white) adhesive for the ceramic floor tiles. Will I need to use latexplus with it?
• Grout - Ultracolour for floor and walls (will it be OK with the UFH???)
• Wall adhesive - Keraflex Maxi (White)
• Primer - Primer G for whole project (will this be ok for the bitumen left on the concrete floor?)

No, you won't need to use LatexPlus with Mapeker.

Yes, Ultracolour can be used for walls and floors. It is also flexible

Keraflex Maxi is fine for walls, you may need to prime depending on what the wall is

I would give Mapei Technical a call about the Bitumen

Latexplus is specific to Keraquick adhesive, I don't think it is a generic admix!

It is also for use with NivoRapid. But, I have seen some tilers mix it with all sorts of things! Not that I would ever recommend it!

That is only because the 2 together are designed to make an S2 adhesive grumps.

Latex plus will modify other products but using the correct adhesive in the first place then you won't have to modify it except keraquick to S2.
