I love a tiling story with a happy ending, you've got to show us the wall pics,we know it's not your work ,we'll just file it under the "That's what you get when you go cheap and hire a hack file"

Apparently after the tiler left for the day on the first day, the customer removed his trim round the window, and put mitred cuts in instread of the butted up mess he left.

I mean, how do you even contemplate getting away with that?! :yikes:

Well, just finished laying it. Customer wanted full tile in the doorway, I had no other choice, thats what they wanted (dont tell them I trimmed an inch and a half off the tiles running down the wall away from the door :) )

Obviously I have to clean it up, and grout it yet

Oh and there is a picture to demonstrate how handy 365 drills are ;)

PLEASE NOTE: THE WALL TILING WAS NOT DONE BY ME!

Im not 100% pleased with it because the wall tiler left the tiles up in the air and inch to an inch and a half above the ply floor (why? I have no clue), and with a thin layer of adhesive, ditra matting, an 8mm bed of adhesive, then tiles.....they didnt quite fit under in most places, and of course the tiles/walls kick in and out. Some wall tiles have been cut a bit diagonal for some reason and of course there is not much I can do other than make my work look better.

Why do jobs never work out quite as easily as they should?
