Opinions On A Cracked Basin Please? (solved)

Plumbing all sorted and floor overboarded. Picked up a couple of those tiles I was interested in...but....I don't like them. They're all right but for that money I need to love 'em.

Got the stud wall boarded and tanked today.

Tomorrows job is to move the light so it's well clear of the shower enclosure and install an extractor fan.
Then I'm out of time and money again but......I think I've found my tiles!
60x60 for the floor and 22x85 for the walls, obviously won't be able to match grout joints now but at least I've managed to find some tiles I actually like.
I'm going with Ray's suggestion for small rooms : a dark feature wall same as the floor and Julian's suggestion of having the dark wall to the right. Also going with a greater contrast as suggested by everyone else!

I do it this way now as find it's neater, no chance of having tanked tape on show after tiling, gets over gaps from out of true walls easier whilst still being 100% waterproof.

A few weeks ago I moved the light clear of the shower enclosure and put an extractor fan in.
Then over bank holiday got the floor and wall done in the dark tiles and trimmed the door. Out of cash and time again but it's starting to look like an ensuite for the first time, just wish I could crack on instead of doing little bits every few weeks.
Had no spare floor tiles to fall back on so felt the pressure when cutting round tray but it ended up perfect - angle grinder and ATS blade (absolutely no chipping and so easy to cut).

Why not fold onto the tray with the tanking....
I did it that way today with Tilemaster self adhesive tape and their tanking paste. I will tile it and then just cut off the excess afterwards with a sharp knife blade. First time I've used the Tilemaster tanking stuff, quite liked it, much less mess than Ardex WPC, is it as good though? Only time will tell.

I've not seen any self adhesive tape? I've used a few tilemaster kits recently too, I stuck the tape on with the paste and pasted over it/ soaked it
