Opinions On A Cracked Basin Please? (solved)

Had to lose a lot of window frame at the sides because the old beading I took off left them in a right mess (don't know what they'd been stuck on with but they were hard to shift and once off it looked like the pvc had been melted by the glue)
Not a fan of beading so preferred to lose the damaged frame. Also cheated in the cill and header as when I measured up I knew it would be too deep by 10mm for the wall tiles so ordered a floor tile in that colour for those 4 cuts.

Grouted yesterday, siliconed this morning and sealed the grout this evening.
Went with UC Mud and matching Silicon.
I know I'll probably get ripped for not using tile coloured Silicon in internals but for me I only do that if wrapping around eg half bond - not when the corners would be natural grout joints like here.
I know many will be even more horrified that I have used the mud Silicon around the tray instead of white.
It's a personal thing and I prefer this look. Added benefit is that it's going to look the same in 5 years time whereas white will look manky in 3 months time unless I clean it constantly, which I would, because she wouldn't.

Funny how excited I am knowing I've only got 1 more day to do on it - been a work in progress for so long!
Wife just caught me with a length of hose and said 'You're not thinking of draining down now are you?' 'the kids are asleep and when are you going to spend some time with me' 😀 I ditched the idea of putting the rad in but now I'm on tilersforums lol

Bugger, didn't quite go to plan.
Rad's on, toilet in, basin unit in, most of the enclosure done (just got to fit the roller door) and still need to fit the shower.
Went to Silicon round the base of the pan and wiped what I thought was a water streak mark off the base. The faint line turned black with my grubby flux fingers and it turned out to be a 6 inch long crack running up the base of the toilet. Access to remove it was a right pain as the enclosure screen was in the way by now and it's going to be even worse putting a new one in. Going to be really annoyed if the holes in the replacement toilet don't line up with the 4 holes I've drilled!
Busy tomorrow so will have to finish it Wednesday now 🙁
