Forget your Rubis, I just finished a big porcelain job today - 600x300s and my BIG CLINKER cut every one of them cleanly, even slivers as thin as 1".

They aren't the most delicate cutter around but they aint half good for porcelain!

Sorry Graces dad but i cant see how 10mm thick porcelain can possibly be cut to 25mm strips on a manual cutter. Theres no way that any splitting attachment can sit that close to the edge of the tileand split 600mm tiles! I need convincing please. Any chance of some digi pics of the business end of this super machine ?

Ps tx700n will cut 1 inch strips!

Brought a TX 900 about 8 years ago only thing I could find that was long enough to cut 900 tile and it still has its uses now and again but not as good a cutter as the ts 30-60 yes I can cut 25.4 x 600 strip :lol:

what sort of porcelain have i just been dealing with then. No way could i apply steady pressure to get it to part split. I was stomping on the handle to split them!!! Bed type wet saw wasnt impressed either.Very slow wet cutting...and a wandering blade. Mitred cuts were a nightmare,ended up doing them with an angle grinder. I was not happy:mad2:

get a sigma m8 it cuts them very easily, what were you atcualy tiling m8
