I just wondered which machines you have compared them with to make that statement. You seem to have just Sigma's

im pretty sure that statement is true m8, im not knocking your cuttin machine either as they look great btw and they probaly cut good aswell , iv never tryd one or heard of it so i obv wouldnt know or been able to compare it to a sigma

but guys have still found some tiles hard to cut cleanly whatever cutter ?

Rather than answer this directly I will lay it out for you.

Porcelain is a refined product which can be harder than granite

The PEI scale rates porcelain by its hardness 0pei to 5pei effectively 5 differing forms of porcelain.

Most porcelain has a grid on the back which makes every cut you make different (this is personal opinion)

You can see that there are very few constants involved yet the class cutters manage to overcome these. Its ipossible to attain a 100% record when cutting tiles as there are things going on in the tiles as well its a question of the best horses for the right course

They are not my cutters raimondi are a class act making very high quality tools for our trade, you buy raimondi and you buy once, I know this.

porcelain is very hard to cut but my rubi dosent have any problems cutting it wat type of wheel is on your rubi is it a floor or wall? use floor and snap quick puting presure on the tile will only mean it breaking plasplugs not recomended to flimsy not worth the money.

I'm pretty sure there is life on mars but I wouldnt say its fact as that would surgest i could back it up 🙂

this debate looks like its going to run and run, people use different cutters, they stay with what they know and have always used, so long as the job is done right with whatever cutter the tiler uses .

sigmas are better though:lol:
