quick question.........

when tiling above a window recess how do you keep the tiles in place...... would like a few replies and opinions to see what would work best for me thanks.

I use rapid set and use a plaster board prop.

I usually cut a batton to the width of the window, wedge it in and then tile down to it.

Sometimes I screw batton to underside of the window other times I use 2 large woodworkers clamps which are reversible so they spread not clamp.

but what about tiling the underside of the window too do you just wait for one to set and then do the other?

yep, you would have to do that with both methods. The right adhesive and they will hold after 30 mins easy.
