Yep when the distillery or friends tell you YOU MUST add a drop of water to a cask malt they mean it 60 proof hurts yer head, a mistake only made once.
I was /still am a staight malt man, except with the rocket fuel, spot of water releases the flavour and saves NHS from sewing the top of your head back in place.:8::8::8:

I've always thought I could get along with Scots dialects, even fast talking weegies, but got stumped working in Perthshire last year.... the decorators (ames jointing) were "scoons"!! every time one said owt to me,, straight over to weegie, "translation mate please!"
 
it is Rob,the sayings etc are from the same dialect.
