Last year I was trimming the end of a broom handle so it would fit into a spiked roller, was sharpening it like a large pencil and for some reason or other, decided to cut towards myself. Went to A&E but there was a 2 hr wait, so used some surgical tape and fixed it myself!

I think that pic was the day after, the amount of blood was unbelievable! Brand new Stanley blade, nice clean cut! Took a few second to start gushing!

once had a 8 be 4 18mm sheet dropped on me hand from about 2 foot, broke me hand and three fingers, one finger looked like a squashed black grape, waited all day for surgery, only to find out the bloke who puts you to sleep had finished his shift, we can do it under a local if you like, id waited all day so let em go a head, not a pleasant experience ,still i can still say ive had plastic surgery, now my fingers just squared off

touch wood, nowt broken or stitched for 15+ years now,,,previous includes 157 stitches, 5 broken legs, wrists broken a few times, billhook removed from my skull. I love middle age!

I've been really lucky, no broken bones and no major blood flow.....touch wood:thumbsup:
