I had a good look at the pictures and it does look like you do have a bit of cement residue on the tiles as well as the sealer looking really dull it , I would follow Dave's advice and clean using hg remover or similar, you must then allow it to dry out completely before you attemp to seal it with the lithofin slate seal you will find the lithofin far superior to the hg and it should give you the shiny finish you are looking for, use 2 coats .hopes this helps
