hi geronimo,i think the best course is to get a good tiler round to inspect the actual floor.its all well us looking at some pictures but its not a proper inspection really

i think if you get a tiler to do the report and also state ont his you will be using another tiler to correct the work this would put you in good stead as the tiler doing the report has nothing to gain so to speak workwise from stating his opinions

ive actually done a report for someone my self, and went to court with the person. your just wasting your time you need to get an independant report off the TTA .we can all tell just by looking at the pictures its a bad job...:yikes:

basically yes an independant body like the TTA is the only way. i felt so sorry for the person cos the job was awfull.but if geronimo can get hold of a tiler that is a member of the TTA they can offer her a discount on the report,it will save a few hundred quid..

Does anyone know an assessor from the TTA, to advise if it is worth having an assessment based on the photos here and in relation to their lippage tolerance (which I do not really understand)? I have contacted their technical department and I received a letter/form to pursue the query and that is about it. If I had some judgement based on this evidence I may well take them up on it but without some serious indication I cannot afford to throw away another £950, I may as well re-purchase some new tiles.....

the job pics are awful....replacing tiles will not fix that it needs re done imo

i cant see why a qualified tradesmans opinion would be discredited in court in relation to a bad job and only tta reports used seems unfair

That is hideus thats not the work of a tiler.wow im shocked, thats plenty of evidence in my eyes have you not got any TTA members near you who can help you out...

thats got to be the worst lippage fro a "tiler" iv come across, and i didnt want to use the word "tiler".
