If you've got a local worktop company who does granite or marble,take the tiles in and ask them to cut a couple of millimeters of each tile.should only take them a few minutes and if your nice enough or tell them your planning on getting your kitchen done they may even do it free 🙂

Hire a saw for a hour or take the tiles into topps tiles I think they do a tile cutting service still.

As always, thank you all for your advice and support. I've ended up buying a cheapo wet saw from Wickes and cutting them again. It was actually better than I thought it might be and seems to have done the trick. They're a bit chipped on the edges but I've used a stone on them to get the worst off and I'm satisfied enough with the finish now.

Now to cut out for the drain and cement em in place. Gulp.

Many thanks @p4ulo mate. I'm pretty pleased with it. It took a lot of effort but I personally think these type of trays look better than mosaics.

One more question on this though... What should I use to fill between the tiles and and the edge of the drain? Grout or Silicon?

What kind of drain have you got mate??
My Schluter one was set in with adhesive, tiled up to, then grouted in with everything else.
Check your instructions, it should specify.

It came with the @Impey Showers aquadec. It's a stainless steel grate attached to the gully. The picture in the top right seems to show something between the tile and the frame but it doesn't say what it is.
