if its hard enough to walk on, and is not sweating.... its ready...

easiest test is to put your palm on the screed...if you can see your palm on the floor after you have removed your hand...its still too wet!!


WOW that is a brave statement...what SLC do you use that advises that..?

nobody advises it, is an old timers test...,
but i see where you are coming from........

the stuff i used was tx50....

50mm one hit,
poly modified,
u floor,
ply,
and walkable in 2 hrs.....

and i did not tile on it for 5 hrs and the wetter bit....7 hrs......

but it was sooooooo flat they went down easy......

Great thread ... Mad as a box of frogs you lot! Would like to have helped you Lee against the northerners, but we would probably have been banned... And as usual I am only just catching up with everything. Well done on getting it back on topic as well!
