It was really funny, when I went through some London shops with Saad... we were in a sports shop looking for some presents for his boys and he saw all the adidas and nike t-shirts and just muttered with each one of them.... "not real, not real" meaning counterfeit.... and I said how do you know and he said the shops would be stupid to buy anything else to sell on, as no one would know the difference anyhow.... and yes, exactly what is the difference, considering it's all made in some sweatshop somewhere?? What is 'real' in this case??

couldnt understand this Gisela? was Saad being profound or just didnt think the goods were genuine ?

He didn't think the goods were genuine, Gary, and I realized I didn't have a case to say they were, as I would not know the difference, and then wondered about all of it... and the more you wonder the more confusing it gets....

you can pretty much buy all the counterfeit stuff in Egypt anyway ,3 lacoste polo shirts are under a tenner out there

Exactly!! I saw all those clothes in the market in Giza, for pennies... did it look any different? no way!! Saad compared and saw no difference either and obviously came to the conclusion that we get sold counterfeit stuff, too...and who is to say we are not...and so it goes... we bought two reebok handluggage suitcases in that shop, for £7.99 each, 'real' or not??

anyway we just had a call from AIMEE in canada she there all safe!! and she is in a Hotel for tonight and she can join her uni-tomoz, some frend's picked her -up from the airport for us ,and are there for her, if she need's any help, great peep's i hope she has a great time!!!
