Leaking shower remedy Discussion Thread

Flexible connector not sealing around a new toilet outlet. Discussion Thread

I fitted a hew toilet which was fairly cheap. I cannot get the flexible connector to seal around the toilet pan outlet.
The outlet seems quite short, is not glazed and the connector just wobbles on it.
I have tried "packing "out the seal with plumbers mate but this doesn't work.
What should I do. Try anther connectir or send the toilet back?
