Hi,
I am installing a shower tray 1400x800 in a space the bath used to be. There are various pipes that sit above the floorboards which I can't really re-route.
I wanted to ask can I build a solid wooden frame secured to the floorboards and to the joists and ply over the top, then put the...

it's a topic that has cropped up before but I don't think a definitive outcome came from it. What is your method to ensure the best possible seal to a white shower tray when your tanking the walls?

Have a bit of a dilemma, I have to install 247mm sq tiles on my wetroomfloor but the tray is 860mm wide. If I start with one tile on one side of the tray, when the other tiles reach the other side, my grout lines won't match the opposite side! If I even it all out, I will have roughly 70ish mm...

The floor is 18mm WBP Ply fixed to the floor joists.
Is it best to fit the hardie backer board over the whole floor, and then fit the shower tray onto the backer board, or fit the tray onto the ply floor then butt the backer board upto the edge of the tray?
Also, the tray instructions...

I'm tiling a wet room at present and here is what I'm up against, what is this tray? No adjustment in the waste and it's set v high to the point the tiles need some real bed up. What's the best way to get the best seal here?
