Angle grinder wheels

While I know that the likes of Marcrist Norton and Montolit produce some fine wheels for cutting. Sometimes they can be overkill. I have been thinking of the more reasonably priced wheels for ceramics. For porcelain I would still favour the higher spec wheel.
Over the past year I have had someone knock the grinder off a bench and the wheel was then dented and useless...another £40 !
I have also had my grinder used for cutting metal trim and the wheel was never the same again.

I know Sigma have a range of 115mm wheels but havent seen any in the shops to buy. Being a Sigma man it would be nice to try one . Or in fact any other decent quality wheels....lets say around the £20 mark.

Anyone using wheels in this price range and if so what type and what is the verdict.
Ceramics mainly with maybe the odd cut in porcelain ?

We have a mid range blade that seems to be popular. The 75C Semi Seg 115mm 22.2mm bore, 1.3mm thick. Good for Porc all the way to Marble. Low RRP on these blades.

Ive tried the 'double a' (i think thats its name) from diatech and the slightly cheaper one too, both good blades. currently using marcrist 850 and its also good but imo there no better than the 35 quid one from screwfix i had years ago.

Have a right lines blade on my small wet saw and it's brilliant. Ats diamond tools does premium blades for a tenner, night be worth looking him up. Supposedly they're just unbranded versions of good wheels.

Gunna being trying out the Sigma 75c in the newyear.. so will let members know how it compares ....

p.s. Derek .. low RPM..?.. ok for grinder though.. or you mean it still cuts even at low RPM..?

Screwfix had an end of stock sale in 2010 the erbauer tile blades were on sale for £3.50 brought 10 of them down to my last 4 did put a new wurth stone blade in for cutting gulf stone lasted two days finished the job with the erbauer blade cut like butter sometimes cheap are just as good.
