£600 for 11sqm of tiling not including the tiles........now i know why my sister will not say how much her bathroom cost her from bodgit and quit......same result in her bathroom too all the walls were removed and replaced and still has lippage with grout in all internal corners around the window and at the base of the walls were they meet the floor tiles, no Silicon used except along the bath, which has already split due to the fact they did not fill the bath while applying the Silicon.

well that's better for the o.p. but b & q may have to give the 'tiler' a chance to rectify it.

That I don't know, but B2B laws are very different to B2C.

B2B deals are not subjected to the same consumer rights.

Be interested to see if anybody knows re: giving a chance to rectify. Oli is normally quite good on these things

I live in Manchester(17yrs) and my sister lives in Middlesbrough and due to work i could not find the time to do it I asked her to postpone it but she wanted
it done before a set time as she also lives in Bahrain for months at a time, and she was due to fly back. To make things worse she told the tiler what i did for a living and he said well i had better do a first class job then :lol:

get on to B&Q and tell em you're documenting everything.... photo's, comments and observations from us pro's
and that you'll be forwarding the whole sorry saga to'Watchdog' and to the consumer magazine 'WHICH', seeking
legal advice and invite B&Q to respond.
You have a cast iron case against shoddy workmanship.
Whoever did this tiling should be embarrassed to call themselves a tiler.

I recently tiled a kitchen splash back, when i done it they noticed a vast improvment between my tiling and the standard done by the B&Q guys!! realy quite shocking work i have to say and i pointed out different issues to him, 1 i can remember was a 2 cm cut down the wall at the corner, really bad!

He explained the way the guys work, 1 spreads the adhesive, 1 does all the cuts and 1 places the tiles on!
