my run of bad luck continues,on my way home this evening tomorrows customer phones and ask me to cancel the job(was being begged by her to be put in on monday only 2 days ago)anyway! it was a supply and fit job,so ok i'll get my £ back for the tiles and can use addy and grout elsewhere, but the problem is i've had 2 8"x4" sheets of wbp cut to suit her exact bathroom size today so this has left me £50 out of pocket as it was a really strange sized bathroom(very long and narrow)do you think it is worth pursuing to get my cash refunded as i think the chances of coming across a bathroom this size any time soon arw rather slim, what really me of was making me change my schedule to suit her and spending 2 hrs of my time today to no avail:incazzato::incazzato::incazzato::incazzato::rant:

she just said she had changed her mind and doesnt want the work done(maybe a later date)think she might have got another qoute! but she was going to have me doing it on the saturday if her tennant could give me access so i was hanging on till after 10 on friday night waiting for her to call(waste of a night).i wouldn't have minded if she had cancelled on saturday after her qoute but waited until late afternoon today knowing i was to be there before 8 tomorrow so she must have an idea i would be getting her materials today:incazzato:

Its the joys of being self employed.

Like many.....I don't ask for a deposit. Think I will in future with bigger jobs.

I seem to be in the middle of a bad turn also at the the moment.

Job booked in last Friday for a local builder. Just a 1 dayer. I turned up as promised, only to find he had self leveled the area as he promised............It was still damp in places. So that was a no go  So after an unexpected day off.....I went to finish a job off on Saturday morning, no problems there........but mid morning got a text from the punters of the job I had booked in for Tomorrow................(booked in since before Christmas) only for them to, "due to unexpected problems"??? could i re-schedule to the end of February

Still waiting to see if I can get back to Fridays abortion of a job tomorrow???? :incazzato::incazzato::incazzato:
